Wednesday, December 31, 2008With the closure of 2008 naturally comes the expectations of 2009...1) To Quit Smoking for GOOD! 2) To Start Saving lots of $$$ 3) To Study really really hard! 4) To Wash my Bike for the first time in 2009! 5) To return my debts by Feb! 6) To Gain 5kg by year end. 7) To obtain my class 2 licence and change my driving licence thereafter. 7 Resolutions.. I hope i can fulfil them ... HOPE is a very big word! Happy New Year people! Louis froze in time on 10:43 AM It's the last day of 2008 and I can't really be sure whether it was a happy or sad year... The first half of the year was boring... still in green.. nothing much happens.. wasted a lot of my time though... Then came July where I went for the FOD and FOC respectively and that's when BBFL was borned..! August came by pretty quickly and I finally get to see my IC in 2 years.. Perhaps you gain something you lose something... I lost her for the first time.. September till Nov all came in a blur.. I didn't know what happened.. This period was the emo-est in the entire year.. The end of the year has been great.. truly! Lots of partying, lots of hanging out... I'm really enjoying every day of it.. I've never regretted joining ODAC .. meeting lots of great people along the way... None of them has a snobbish air in them... everyone is like so kind to everyone else! Perhaps that's the spirit SRC should foster.. Year 2008.. finally a closure.. I'm awaiting the challenges ahead.. 2009 will definately be a better year.. Monday, December 29, 2008One of the best weekends I ever had.. truly...Hanged out with the "笨笨地" for the past couple of days as both of us were like exceptionally free and bored.. !!! Caught like 2 movies in 3 days .. "Bed time story" and "IP MAN" and honestly.. the movies were great (or perhaps the company was.. hmmm..) . It's really nice hanging out "笨笨地" because I don't have to be the "perfect gentlemen" .. The common understanding we have just keeps our conversation going on and on.. it's like there are 1001 things to talk about.. Not very often that you can find a person that has so much in common with u .. and on top of that I don't have to worry about being un-glam!! I was like exceptionally "nua" all this while .. and so is she! HAHA! Went over to Del's drink stall at AMK .. it's been like years since i last saw him... I'm happy for him.. seeing him doing so well now.. Del was my primary school mate and both of us were in the badminton team.. him being my doubles' partner.. I remembered during one of our training session... he swing his racket and hit my front tooth! Chipping them off as a result! Saturday, December 27, 2008A party that turns out so well..A crowd that overwhelms.. A night of fun and joy.. A festive that I really enjoyed.. Cameras up high.. Mouths opening wide.. Faces blushing red.. Flashes all the way... Foams floating all round.. Snowmen/women running downtown.. Champange gushing out.. Laughters from the heart... From day to dawn.. Wednesday, December 24, 2008I received a Christmas card today and I must say I was very surprised to see the sender's name... She's none other then Ms Chian.. one of the person that I alawys respect...Ms Chian was my lecturer in a couple of subjects.. from Productivity and Creativity to Process Instrumentation Control and lastly Good Manufacturing Practise... throughout those years.. I've never had a full attendence in her class and worse of all.. most of the time I'm sleeping in class! But never once did she gave up on me.. always urging me on.. and when my chips were down.. her words of encouragement lightens my heart... Every year without fail.. her place will be one of the "must visit" destination during Chinese new year.. for all these while she's one of the few that is really concerned about how and what we are doing... Though many a times.. we can see her struggling deep within.. she always put on her strongest and sweetest smile.. never once showing her emotions... As the chinese saying a master a day, a master a life time.. to me she's more than just a master, an educator or a lecturer... she's a friend.. a mother and above all my guidian.. Tuesday, December 23, 2008It's been a long long time since the 6 of us met up for anything at all..How time really flies.. anyway BBFLs met up today to celebrate Stephie's birthday which was long overdued.. (Sorry bestie!) and of course we're only 2 days away from christmas how can we forget about gift exchanging! How i miss those days where we are all so carefree.. hanging out as and when we want to.. now everyone of us is so preoccupied with our own stuff that we hardly have time for each other except for the couple lah! So had Soup restaurant for dinner .. to be honest.. today's food aren't that fantastic... to me the standard dropped dramatically.. We didn't just stop there though.. we finished our day off with a movie and eng wah cineplex.. when was the last time i caught a movie there hmm..                     Louis froze in time on 1:13 AM
Sunday, December 21, 2008I thought i could finally have some time to let my inspiration do the talking.. Never speak too soon...I'm extremely disappointed with myself... a feeling of deja vuu.. it was so much like a couple of years back while i was planning for my sch's dinner and dance! Fast forward till today.. the party's 3 days away and almost nothing is done... Problems seem to be emerging exponentially.. I've so much issues to handle that I'm on the verge of a mental breakdown... Oh god.. let this come to an end soon... I'm soooo not gonna do it anymore... Give me a break... Friday, December 19, 2008Was out the whole noon today..Manage to buy both my christmas present for my 2 "secret" friend.. and hopefully they will love it.. On top of that... my christmas grocery list is finally cleared! Bought some christmas deco, champagne and the party poopers and sprays ! The sight of all this items at the corner of my room really had me anticipating the big day! Meeting up with my BBFLs on Monday and hopefully it will be a wonderful day! Wednesday, December 17, 2008Decided to clear my drawer when i chanced upon an item...This was one item which i didnt dare to put it away even till now...    I bought this phone sometime before my enlistment... I remembered at that point of time starhub sent me a $100 voucher and with that I purchased this phone together with her... Having used less than 2 months, I gave the phone to her as I would soon be enlisting and that camera phone was banned or rather had been banned since that period of time.. The sight of this phone and the content inside reminded me of the times we had.. Perhaps all this while.. the smile on my face had been faslely put up.. I know i shouldn't but i truly missed her.. All I had done was to leave the matter as it is.. hoping that nothing will trigger it but everytime whenever her name is being mentioned I will basically just "zone out" into a world where it all began.. Sigh... perhaps I should face the facts head on rather than shunning it.. Anyway I've yet to decide whether i should be keeping this phone or sell it away for it represents a significant part of my life... It took us (me, tengyong,kevin and Tricia) a very nearly 1 hour to finally "found" the right house! If you guys have actually caught LIU XING HUA YUAN the F4 drama.. yah his house is like that of Daoming Si .. the only difference was it didn't came with furnitures... David is akin to a shorter and kinder version of Daoming Si whose wealth is immerse! So for those of you who wants to be his "Shan Cai" you can actually start queueing up now for he's still single and available! Pics!!!               And Finally... A burden I'm able to bare.. A period where we will all be there The girl whom we will always care... The period to grieve is bitter and tough.. Cry my friend.. Let your emotions flow for now.. Sunday, December 14, 2008Back from a truly tiring day which didn't really start off well...Yesterday noon was suppose to be SRC (Student Council) Welfare department's gathering.. As the theme of the gathering was Mahjong Competition both Roy and I were damn excited at the prospect of being able to challenge people from our department... After much searching... we finally reached the designated place at around 2pm... What came later on shocked us speechless. We tried calling the organiser but there wasn't any replies .. then Roy phone rung... *SMS FROM JOAN* "The gathering has been cancelled" *Roy shouted* "What happened?" "Meeting cancel lah!" "WTF???!!!! Who message you???" "Joan leh.. i call her you wait.." "Eh Joan.. Roy here.. how come meeting cancel ah?" "I don't know leh.. yesterday the bizzaar people cancel it" "YTD???" "Ya yesterday around 10pm..." "Oh okok" "Eh Louis yesterday cancel already man.." "WHa lao eh.. what the hell man.. wha then how now?" "Go home lor.." We've got no choice but to head home... But given my character, I didn't just close the matter.. I sent out an email to all the welfare heads with regards to this issue!!! Dear all I'm speechless for what happened earlier on. The welfare gathering was suppose to be on today right?... and so Roy and I went down to whoever's place that is... ENTHUSIASTICALLY! Both of us actually text this number provided XXXXXXXX to inform this person that we will be late...there wasn't any reply at all. Upon reaching the place.. we called Joan up and it was only then we realised the gathering was cancelled!!! We were not informed at all! Goodness me it was lucky that both of us are easterners and that the distance home wasn't that far.. imagine this event was held somewhere west??? I'm seriously gutted. Friday, December 12, 2008Been living from hand to mouth..It wasn't easy for me the past 2-3 months as I hardly have any inputs (income) while my outputs are like exceptionally high! Finally I can breathe a huge sigh of relieve.. just got my pay cheque for the IT fair.. it isn't a huge sum but its enough to get by for the next 2 weeks at least... After that it's gonna be my first official pay day in 3 months! I can finally kiss proverty good-bye! But i still have a whole list of creditors to pay! 1) Mum --- $500 2) Credit Card bill--- $550 3) Boon --- $100 4) Bro --- $100 5) Bike installment --- $186 Argh.. die man! Wednesday, December 10, 2008As I was scrolling down viewing my blog I realise how fast time has passed and how much things have changed..From a wordy and emotional blog to a blog filled with fun laughter and PICTUREs is something I least expected... I'm not trying to be back to my emo self once more but I soon realised absence do made the heart fonder.. Up till this moment in time.. I still haven't found the courage to view her blog.. Don't ask me why because I myself do not have the answer... As I was taking a walk to the coffee shop nearby earlier on.. I wanted so much to talk to someone or anyone.. scrolling through my phonebook I realised hmmm there wasn't anyone that I felt like calling.. Rummaging through my sms-es was even worse.. there wasn't any messages that needed replying.. Oh well.. I guess that's probably normal for a guy like me... "But what about all those girls???" That's probably a common resentment among my friends .. All those girls are mere aquaintances.. They are what i classify them to be "hi-bye" friends where the conversation will not last more than 3 sentences... Time to hit home...
