Sunday, December 14, 2008Back from a truly tiring day which didn't really start off well...Yesterday noon was suppose to be SRC (Student Council) Welfare department's gathering.. As the theme of the gathering was Mahjong Competition both Roy and I were damn excited at the prospect of being able to challenge people from our department... After much searching... we finally reached the designated place at around 2pm... What came later on shocked us speechless. We tried calling the organiser but there wasn't any replies .. then Roy phone rung... *SMS FROM JOAN* "The gathering has been cancelled" *Roy shouted* "What happened?" "Meeting cancel lah!" "WTF???!!!! Who message you???" "Joan leh.. i call her you wait.." "Eh Joan.. Roy here.. how come meeting cancel ah?" "I don't know leh.. yesterday the bizzaar people cancel it" "YTD???" "Ya yesterday around 10pm..." "Oh okok" "Eh Louis yesterday cancel already man.." "WHa lao eh.. what the hell man.. wha then how now?" "Go home lor.." We've got no choice but to head home... But given my character, I didn't just close the matter.. I sent out an email to all the welfare heads with regards to this issue!!! Dear all I'm speechless for what happened earlier on. The welfare gathering was suppose to be on today right?... and so Roy and I went down to whoever's place that is... ENTHUSIASTICALLY! Both of us actually text this number provided XXXXXXXX to inform this person that we will be late...there wasn't any reply at all. Upon reaching the place.. we called Joan up and it was only then we realised the gathering was cancelled!!! We were not informed at all! Goodness me it was lucky that both of us are easterners and that the distance home wasn't that far.. imagine this event was held somewhere west??? I'm seriously gutted.
