Wednesday, December 24, 2008I received a Christmas card today and I must say I was very surprised to see the sender's name... She's none other then Ms Chian.. one of the person that I alawys respect...Ms Chian was my lecturer in a couple of subjects.. from Productivity and Creativity to Process Instrumentation Control and lastly Good Manufacturing Practise... throughout those years.. I've never had a full attendence in her class and worse of all.. most of the time I'm sleeping in class! But never once did she gave up on me.. always urging me on.. and when my chips were down.. her words of encouragement lightens my heart... Every year without fail.. her place will be one of the "must visit" destination during Chinese new year.. for all these while she's one of the few that is really concerned about how and what we are doing... Though many a times.. we can see her struggling deep within.. she always put on her strongest and sweetest smile.. never once showing her emotions... As the chinese saying a master a day, a master a life time.. to me she's more than just a master, an educator or a lecturer... she's a friend.. a mother and above all my guidian..
