Saturday, January 24, 2009In life, we often fail to appreciate the scenary around us...The busy lifestyle of ours consumes our priviledges to enjoy the simplicity of things. We are the labour of our own sucess, dreams and work... While riding back from Bukit Panjang earlier, I took an exceptionally long time to get home--- an hour to be exact. Yes indeed, I have taken a wrong route, not because it was accidental but rather intentional. I allow my heart to rule my head for once.. as I wanted to try a new route. Humans are afraid to take a new step because in our society ... mistakes cannot be condone.. This decision of mine reaps intense satisfaction. Riding passed some familiar ground, I was amazed by the greenary, something which I have failed to notice for the past couple of years. I stopped along Mandai Rd... facing the reservor, I realised just how much I took this place for granted... never once stopping to look at this sacred ground even though this has been a route to and from camp. Life is an art.. unless we start slowing our pace.. we will never be able to gawk what nature has for us... The sea is calm... and so is my heart...      Louis froze in time on 4:31 PM
